Acupuncture Procedure

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine, sterile needles into specific points in the body to help reduce pain and improve function. In physiotherapy, acupuncture is commonly used to reduce muscle tension, calm pain sensitivity, and support the body’s natural healing responses. It is often used for musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, and muscle-related pain, and is typically combined with exercise and rehabilitation.
