Sports Massage

It may be appropriate for both active individuals and non-athletes experiencing muscle

tightness or soreness related to work, sport, or daily activities. Sports massage is typically

Is sports massage only for athletes?

No. Sports massage can be helpful for anyone experiencing muscle tightness, soreness, or

stiffness, regardless of sporting level.

Is sports massage painful?

Pressure can range from gentle to firm depending on the area being treated and your

tolerance. It should not feel excessively painful, and pressure is always adjusted to the

individual.

How often should I have sports massage?

​

Frequency varies depending on symptoms, activity levels, and goals. Your Physiotherapist

will advise based on clinical assessment rather than a fixed schedule.
